6 Bricks + Robotics (Why it works)

Concrete foundations for STEM Infusing the 6 Bricks approach into robotics provides young children with a developmentally appropriate entry point into STEM learning by anchoring abstract technological concepts in concrete, hands-on experiences. The 6 Bricks methodology uses simple LEGO® DUPLO® bricks to strengthen focus, memory, self-regulation, and communication—so children are ready to engage meaningfully with robotics rather than merely follow instructions.

A cognitive bridge into coding Before children program a robot to move or respond, they practise breaking tasks into steps, recognising patterns, giving clear instructions, and correcting errors through 6 Bricks challenges.
